Kasey Chambers + Troy Cassar-Daley

There are a number of Kasey Chambers songs that take me back to a specific time and place in my life. Like a soundtrack to my teenage years. 

Kasey’s music has saturated the ears and touched the lives of most Australians in some way. It makes sense considering she’s released 12 albums, with 5 reaching number 1 on the ARIA charts. Kasey was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2018 and has won an additional 14 ARIA music awards – 9 for Best Country Album.

Needless to say I jumped at the opportunity to be sent by ARIA to document her show in Tamworth with Troy Cassar-Daley, another Australian music legend. Throughout his career, Troy has received 4 ARIA Music Awards, 37 Golden Guitars, 9 Deadly Awards, 4 Country Music Association of Australia Entertainer of the Year awards and 2 National Indigenous Music Awards. What a mouthful! 

I cannot overstate what an absolute honour it was to be at this show, let alone shoot it. Thanks for checking out my pics and I hope you enjoy them.
